USD Welcomes Guests from SD Symphony Orchestra for Concert
The University of South Dakota Department of Music presents the concert, “Avec Charme: a Night of French Music,” featuring assistant professor of piano Alessandra Feris and guests from the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra Tuesday, Jan 23, at 7:30 p.m.
The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra musicians joining Feris include Jeffrey Paul, oboe; Yi-Chun Lin, viola; and John Tomkins, bassoon. The night’s music will include works by Satie, Dutilleux, Loeffler and Paulenc.
The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Colton Recital Hall in the Warren M. Lee Center for Fine Arts. It is open to the public and free of charge.
