Yankton students from The U to showcase graduation exhibit
Schenkel is a fine arts major with an emphasis in photography from Yankton, S.D. Her work includes self-portraits and sky-scapes. She uses digital photography and a creative touch in the digital darkroom to create her self-portraits, while keeping her sky-scapes straight photography. Schenkel plans to start her own portrait studio after graduation.
Kidney, a fine arts major with an emphasis in photography and painting, is also from Yankton, S.D. Through the use of long exposure, digital darkroom manipulation and night photography, Kidney uses his work to simplify and focus on what is pure, beautiful and simple with a deeper philosophical meaning.
