Step 1: Your Rate

The cost of pursuing an advanced degree at USD varies. The good news is there are a lot of options to consider. Factors that can affect your cost include the program selected, delivery method, where you live, employment as a graduate assistant, military or veteran standing and more. Be sure you understand the details that go into calculating your cost to attend USD.

Tuition rates and fees are subject to change and set according to the policies of the South Dakota Board of Regents. Determine your base tuition and fee rate using the table below.

Step 2: Discipline-Specific Fees

Some disciplines and courses have additional fees. Please find your program to determine which fees are associated with your program. All fees listed are per credit hour unless otherwise noted. If you have questions about course and delivery fees, contact your graduate program director.

Step 3: Determine Your Estimated Costs

Add up the per credit hour total and multiply by applicable credits, add in any general fees (not per credit hour) and total for a final estimated cost.

*Note: Optional on-campus parking is available for an annual fee of $170.00 (this is subject to change). Add this to your cost if this would apply to you.
