Commit to USD

Let us know you've committed to enrolling at USD by paying your deposit. You will need your Student ID, which be found on your acceptance letter.

 Submit Immunization Records

The Board of Regents requires all attendees of state schools to provide proof of immunizations prior to enrollment in classes. You must complete the form provided by Student Health Services before we can register you for classes. We recommend you complete this process as early as possible.

Visit the Knudson School of Law

The USD Knudson School of Law is a community of excellence, service and leadership. In order to experience how strong our community and network is, we strongly encourage you to visit us. During your visit, you can meet with the admissions team, take a tour with a law student, sit in on a class, and meet our faculty.

Deferrals

Under extraordinary circumstances, we may grant a request to defer your admission. The request must be in writing, and must include the reasons for the request. Approvals to defer are left to the discretion of the admissions committee chairperson and the director of admissions. If granted, an applicant can defer for one year only. After the year expires, the applicant must reapply through the regular admissions process.
