Dorothy C Schieffer Scholarship to provide extraordinary opportunities for non-traditional students
The Dorothy C. Schieffer Scholarship offers full tuition (in-state or out-of-state), books, room and board (equivalent to the USD residence hall and meal plan charges per academic year), and at least one international study abroad opportunity or domestic internship to each non-traditional student who qualify for the award. In addition to academic performance, the scholarship is renewable for a maximum of four years as long as the recipient meets the guidelines established by the endowment, including demonstrating a genuine need for financial assistance; being in a position to excel academically; and indicating a potential to grow into a civic-minded leader.
