"We are excited to serve as SGA president and vice president for the upcoming year,” said Anderson, SGA vice president and a political science and business administration sophomore from Aberdeen, South Dakota. “One of the main components we want to focus on is showcasing everything USD has to offer students.”

McNary, the new president, is a junior from Vermillion, South Dakota, and studies political science and criminal justice.

“We also want to establish a better relationship with the Vermillion community. And as always, we love USD and want to make sure that all students feel welcome,” said Anderson.

SGA acts as the liaison between students, administration, faculty and the South Dakota Board of Regents, and strives to enhance communication, understanding and cooperation throughout the university. Learn more about SGA on the student life website.
