Register Now for Online and Off-Campus Courses
How you register depends on your enrollment status and the type of class you want to take.
Registration for Current Online and Off-Campus Students
Current students register using Self-Service Registration. (You can search for courses at anytime; if you are registering for a course, you will need a valid USD login ID and password). Current students are those who have already been admitted to USD and have enrolled in classes before. Follow the steps below to register for online or off-campus courses.
- Go to Self-Service Registration at usd.edu/course-search
- Select the appropriate term and click "Continue"
- Select your university: USD University of South Dakota
- Select your preferred location: ONLINE/Internet
- Click "Search"
Registration for New Online and Off-Campus Students
New online and off-campus students, degree-pursuant and non-degree pursuant, register using this Online Registration Form. Degree-pursuant students must be admitted to USD before registering. Prospective undergraduates apply using the Undergraduate Application. Prospective graduate students apply through the Graduate School: apply using the Graduate School Application.
Student Registering for DDN Courses
Current and new students registering for Digital Dakota Network courses delivered to sites outside of Rapid City, Sioux City or Sioux Falls, register using this Online Registration Form.
