His walls are adorned with plaques, awards, certificates and publications -- all recognizing Horton's work in antitrust and trial technique.

There's much more that Horton, a professor in USD's law school, does that often goes unrecognized.

Thomas J. Horton

He was heavily quoted in the September publication of Capitol Forum, in which Horton discussed pricing in the Midwestern liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry and capital discipline.

This summer, Horton was invited to share his expertise at multiple events, including the Midwest Antitrust Conference and the American Antitrust Institute Virtual Competition Roundtable: "Harnessing State Antitrust Enforcement in Food and Agriculture." The roundtable discussion is available to watch online.

Horton also recorded a podcast for R-Calf, in which he discussed Americanism and antitrust with a focus on the cattle industry.

Horton has been with the USD Knudson School of Law since 2009, following a 28-year career as an antitrust attorney and complex litigator.
