Beacom School of Business Students Connect with Professional Firms at Networking Event
The Meet the Firms event provides students the opportunity to meet with prospective regional and national employers. A total of 55 students attended the networking event designed to help students get better acquainted with industry professionals.
“Meet the Firms provided invaluable, exclusive information from current employees regarding who they work for and what they do,” said Brianne Davidson, a graduate student in the online master of professional accountancy program. "It was well worth the six hour drive from Rapid City for me to learn from the experience and insight of 30+ professionals.”
“Eide Bailly is proud to participate in USD’s Meet the Firms event and get to know the next generation of excellent talent,” said Marta Lehn, marketing coordinator for Eide Bailly. “This event gives us the chance to meet with students in a more casual setting to learn about their interests and answer any questions they have about opportunities and their future careers. Without the pressure of a formal interview, students gain a greater understanding of our culture and how they could fit into it someday."
