During semester startup, CTL staff will monitor the CTL email account during off-business hours.  If you need assistance, please use our support form—which is preferred—or send your request directly to ctl@usd.edu.  Please understand that the CTL staff will use their discretion when it comes to responding outside of normal business hours, but we will endeavor to respond to all emails before the close of the next business day.

IMPORTANT:  Sending requests directly to CTL staff personal email addresses may result in a delay in response.

Digital accessibility applies to USD's online presence of any kind; this includes online course materials, the USD website, forms, documents, and handbooks we use, student research publications, live streaming of events, recorded video lectures, and more.  USD is moving to greater levels of digital accessibility with two overarching outcomes.  First, it brings us closer to (and ultimately, in line with) federal regulations and guidelines for digital accessibility.  Second, it creates an environment where all students, staff, and faculty have the opportunity to access all digital content in the formats they need or which serve them best. DAF Call for Participants

Submission Deadline: Apr 22, 2022

Quality Assurance Process

The Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL)—in close coordination and collaboration with Continuing and Distance Education (CDE)—oversees the Board of Regents (BOR) online QA and readiness process for all distance courses at USD.  We take a proactive readiness approach to ensure the successful design and delivery of our online courses.
