The Arts in Health Certificate Program is the first of its kind in South Dakota.

You'll learn about basic and advanced healthcare concepts and how the fine arts can crossover to help develop patient care tools to assist medical professionals in patient treatment.

Arts in health embraces the visual arts, dance & movement, music, literature and poetry, drama and theater and the contemplative arts, allowing individuals with a variety of skills and interests to engage, expanding the healing benefits of the arts.

Through classroom and community service learning hours, you will gain valuable skills working with a variety of healthcare populations.
