The 100% online undergraduate or graduate Arts in Health (AIH) Certificate is a 12 credit-hour certificate program that teaches basic and advanced healthcare concepts and how the fine arts can crossover to help develop patient-care tools to assist medical professionals in patient treatment. You will learn about the principles behind arts in health work, various cultures and how to perceive fine arts as a healthcare tool.
Arts in health embraces the visual arts, dance & movement, music, literature and poetry, drama and theater and the contemplative arts, allowing individuals with a variety of skills and interests to engage, expanding the healing benefits of the arts.
Through classroom and community service learning hours, you will gain valuable skills working with a variety of healthcare populations.
