Justice and Law Enforcement
Serve communities through justice and law enforcement with a degree in criminal justice.
The Bachelor of Science (B.S.)/Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Criminal Justice has close working relations with other disciplines to provide qualified personnel for all segments of the criminal justice system with a primary focus on law enforcement training and advancement.
The program is geared towards four major focuses:
- To produce trained personnel for all parts of the criminal justice system, and its related fields;
- To improve the understanding and ability of those currently working in the criminal justice field, as well as provide research and educational assistance to criminal justice agencies;
- To create a better understanding between the public and the criminal justice system; and,
- To provide a complete education in criminal justice for graduates who choose to pursue masters, doctoral, and law degrees after graduation.
