Billing & Payment

To access and view your SDePay account, click the button above or follow these simple steps:

• Log in to the MyUSD Portal with your USD username and password.
• Scroll down the page and click the red "Financial Aid Self-Service" button.
• Log in to Financial Aid Self-Service with your USD email address and password.
• In the Student tab, click on "SDePay/View account".

You can add an authorized payer by clicking the "Authorized Payer" link in SDePay. Authorized Payers may log in from the South Dakota Public Universities Authorized Payer login page.

You have two options for paying your bill.

1. Online payment options.
   
   • Echeck - A free service that allows you to pay by entering your US bank routing and account number. Funds will be sent directly to Business Office.
   • Credit/debit card - A service fee of 2.85% is charged for credit/debit card transactions. (American Express, Discover or MasterCard accepted).
   • International payment - USD partners with Flywire to facilitate international transactions. There is no fee associated with this service. Flywire provides currency exchange rates.
2. Cash or Check - You can pay with cash or check in person at the Business Office or mail to the USD Business Office:

Students and authorized payers may enroll in an optional payment plan through SDePay.  Once in SDePay, select "View & Pay Accounts", then select "Sign up for a Payment Plan" located near the top of the screen.  For more payment plan information, visit https://mycollegepaymentplan.com/sdbor/.

To sign up for direct deposit, click on "Direct Deposit Refunds" under the Financial Profile menu. Enter your checking or savings account information to receive your student aid refund via ACH Direct Deposit.

Parents and authorized payers can take the following steps to access SDePay and take further actions.

1. Go to SDePay. Note: Students must set up an authorized payer in SDePay before a parent or authorized payer is able to view and pay a bill. View instructions above on setting up authorized payers.
2. Login with the Login Name and Password.
3. Navigate to the section you need. Here is an overview of the areas you may be looking for:
   1. Click "View and Pay Accounts." Current Balance reflects the amount owed.
   2. Click "Statement Details" to view your latest billing statement.
   3. Click "Statement History" to view past billing statements.
   4. Click "Sign up for a Payment Plan"  to set up a payment plan.

2023 Fall tuition and fees due date is September 1st 2023.

2024 Spring tuition and fees due date is January 18th 2024.

2024 Summer Tuition and fees due date is June 10th 2024.
