Each student's interests, background and needs are considered when designing the individual's program of study. The master’s program can generally be completed in two semesters and a summer or may be extended over a longer period of time. This convenient and flexible online program allows students to continue their employment as they become leaders in their field. Students can specialize in:

• Science, technology and math pedagogy

Accelerated Program

USD also offers an accelerated option which will allow advanced students who have been admitted to the master’s program to begin the M.A. in Secondary Education with a culturally and linguistically diverse learners specialization during their final year of undergraduate study.
