Register for Classes
All students must be admitted to USD before registering for classes. Registration at USD generally includes the following steps:
- Academic advising. Meet with your advisor to plan your schedule, discuss your educational and program options and remain on track to complete your degree requirements.
- Registration. For incoming students, registration will take place when you meet with an academic advisor. For current students, you'll register using Registration Self-Service.
- Paying your bill. Complete your enrollment by paying your tuition and fees bill.

The Office of the Registrar serves as the institutional guardian for official academic information and records in supporting the faculty, staff and students of the University of South Dakota.

Information Technology Services (ITS) provides technology support for USD's students, faculty and staff.
