Degrees
Master of Arts (M.A.)
The M.A. Program can open the door to further growth and professional development for high school teachers seeking a master's degree, or for people who seek employment in other fields, but do not have an interest in a terminal degree.
Master of Science (M.S.)
The M.S. Program prepares students for doctoral studies in mathematics and covers advanced topics that will prepare them to take the qualifying exams at other Ph.D. programs without the need for more coursework.

Pi Day Celebration
The Math Department served 33 pies this year at the annual event to celebrate the significance of pi (3.14).
The Math Department annually hosts the Merten Hasse Math Competition for area junior high and high school students. Schools earn points for each student who places in the top eight of the division exams.
