We offer comprehensive study in aesthetics as well as scholarly, historical and technical studio instruction. Your first two years of study balance art and general education classes; junior and senior year classes then shift to your specialization area as well as portfolio development. The unique programs and outstanding faculty help you develop your craft while earning a professional degree.

Housed within the college of Fine Arts, the art department has been accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design since 1979. We also offer the state's only master's degree in studio art.
