The University of South Dakota is set to host a dedication ceremony for Founders Park on Thursday, Oct. 20 from 4-5:30 p.m. A reception with light refreshments will follow the ceremony.
The Mickelson family has been selected as the 2022 Coyote Legacy Family of the Year in honor of the many generations who have attended the University of South Dakota and the contributions they have made to the university and the state.
University of South Dakota alumnus Bob Frieberg ’57, ’61 will serve as the 2022 Dakota Days Parade Grand Marshal on Oct. 22. Frieberg, a longtime South Dakota lawyer, is highly regarded for his legal counsel, volunteerism, philanthropy and USD pride.
The University of South Dakota is now offering new programs that will allow South Dakota’s sociology students the opportunity to earn an accelerated Master of Social Work degree online or in Sioux Falls from USD.
